1979, Journey Through THE SECRET LIFE OF PLANTS - STEVIE WONDER , Songwriter：Stevie Wonder , 最近はスティービーのアルバム、ザシィ-クレットライフオブプランツばかり聴いてます。太古の植物のエネルギーを感じる、凄いアルバムです。🎹 ドキュメンタリー映画、The Secret Life of Plants ,のサウンドトラックとして制作されたアルバムで、全曲、彼の作品です🎹 映画は一般公開はされなかった様です。スティービーが、森か、大地で、歌っているビデオだけ、観た記憶があります。初めて、このアルバムに触れた時の事を覚えています。キイ　オブ　ライフの様なイメージを持って聴きましたが、全く見当外れでした。　　　　　　　　　　　　　正直、なんだ？このアルバムは？という感想しかありませんでした。ただ神秘的で、エスニックで、不思議な感じのアルバムだ、という印象は残りました。　　🌿　それ以来、ほとんどこのアルバムに触れる事は無かったのですが、40年程過ぎた、ある時期に、微かに覚えていた、あの不思議な感じになった音に、触れたい衝動にかられ、アルバム全曲を聴き返してみると、凄すぎました❗❗❗ 初めて聴いた時は、聴き手の私の、心と体が、まだ成長して無かったのです。今は、感じます、このアルバムの凄さを❗ 全く、コマーシャルな要素がありません。スティービー　ワンダーの本当の姿に触れる事ができるアルバムです。このアルバム全体から伝わってくるビートは🪘 地球のビ−トです、ソウルフルという言葉すら、野暮ったく思える程、太古のビ−トです。 Disc 1 Earth's Creation　（大地の創造物) スティーヴィー・ワンダーがこの壮大な物語の幕開けに選んだのは、言葉による説明を一切排した、純粋な音の塊によるインストゥルメンタルであった。このアルバム『Journey Through "The Secret Life of Plants"』が、単なるポップ・ミュージックの枠を超え、植物の感情や意識という目に見えない領域に踏み込もうとする実験的かつ深い精神性の旅であることを、このオープニング曲が何よりも雄弁に物語っている。使用されているのは、当時最新鋭だった巨大なポリフォニック・シンセサイザー「YAMAHA GX-1」。しかし、ここから鳴らされる音は、機械的な冷たさとは無縁だ。聞こえてくるのは、自然の生成、大地の胎動、そして生命が初めてこの地球に芽吹く瞬間の「産声」である。これはもはや「音楽」という既存の概念を通り越し、母なる大地の鼓動そのものと言っても過言ではない。初めてこの曲を聴いた時、私は静かに目を閉じた。スピーカーから溢れ出す未知のサウンドに、最初、私は微かな「不気味さ」を感じた。それは、人間がコントロールできない巨大な自然の力に対する、本能的な畏怖だったのかもしれない。しかし、その感覚はすぐに、どこか懐かしく、温かい「有機的な自然の要素」へと変わっていった。私の脳裏には、遥か太古の記憶が呼び起こされる。それはデボン紀だろうか、あるいはカンブリア紀だろうか。地質学的な正確さは重要ではない。そこにあるのは、まだ植物すら誕生していない、煮えたぎるマグマと冷えゆく海、そして大気が混ざり合う、生命誕生前夜の風景だ。スティーヴィーは、光を失った視覚の代わりに、その鋭敏な聴覚と魂の触覚で、この宇宙的なドラマを描き出している。「私はこのあと、どんな世界に連れていかれるのだろう――」そんな期待と不安が入り混じった心地よい緊張感の中で、曲は進んでいく。この『Earth's Creation』は、長く、深い旅への扉だ。都会の喧騒や、コマーシャルな音楽の構造から解き放たれ、リスナーが自らの内なる「自然」へと回帰していくための、静謐でいて力強い入り口なのである。私たちは今、スティーヴィーという導き手に連れられ、生命の源流へと一歩足を踏み入れたのです。 1.
